The world around us is a glorious kaleidoscope of color. Imagine for a moment some lush green grass, soft and fresh to the touch and uplifting to the soul. Blueberries and raspberries, blackbirds, red peppers, green apples, traffic lights, goldfish, green hedgerows, golden sand dunes and turquoise lagoons, roses in bloom, snowflakes, Christmas lights, acorns, butterflies and swirling red and white barbers’ signs. Picture the glorious yellow of daffodils heralding springtime, the shimmers of sunlight through the trees, rain- bows in the sky and the shadows of evening seen through purple and pink sunsets.

Color is visual. It is everywhere and bombards our senses. It evokes memories, feelings, impressions, tastes, sounds and emotions. It stimulates our mind, body and Spirit. We see it, feel it, breathe it, wear it, smell it, eat it, sing it, paint it, write it – we are it. Wherever you go, whatever you do, wherever you look, you are immersed in the existence of color. Close your eyes for a moment and watch what emerges from the apparent darkness. The Native Americans knew that out of the blackness comes light and color and declared black to be the color of intuition and new beginnings. Allow your inner world to expand and open, revealing a multitude of colors, feelings, symbols, sensations and impressions. Color is the stimulus that enables us to see the threads running through our lives and the power within us to change our lives and ourselves into whatever we want.

Color is the missing link that connects us to all that is and to our limitless potential. By utilizing all that color has to offer us, we begin to consciously understand and tap into the unseen levels and aspects of ourselves. This process raises our consciousness, opening and expanding our minds to levels beyond our wildest dreams and revealing to us our purpose on this earth. It is real and available to each and every one of us. The perfect simplicity yet profound impact of color opens our minds to enlightenment. It gives us an objective overview of life so that we can see the inter-relatedness and inter-connectedness of all things.

Color gives us the freedom we all desire and the power to express ourselves in the way we wish to be heard. It brings peace, harmony and balance back into our ourselves, our lives, the workplace and our homes. All this is obtainable and much more.

I ask you to suspend your judgement, feel with your heart and allow all that is contained within this course to take you on a journey, a colorful journey, back to the beginning, back to yourself.
