The ancient healers knew that the body is more than what is seen. They respected the wholeness of the body, emotions, mind and Spirit, saw the god/goddess within all Beings and treated their patients with respect and care. Healing was a three-way agreement between healer, god/goddess and the person being healed. Healing was an active choice. Such partnerships and participation are missing in today’s modern medicine, along with the concepts of wholeness and respect. Anyone can heal, and anyone can choose well-being. By learning and using the ancient skills of healing, many dis-eases of the body, emotions, mind and Spirit are preventable, or are easily transformed before they become matters for allopathic medicine. The skills of the ancient healers are available, powerful and very much alive right now.

You create your life much like a gardener creates a garden. The plot is cleared of weeds and debris, the soil is turned and fertilized, and the appropriate seeds are chosen based on the specific things you would like to grow. Once the seeds are planted, you water and nurture them. As time goes on, you prune away unwanted growth and continue to fertilize, water and nurture the garden. Through this attention and focus, you create a beautiful, natural sanctuary filled with color, scent and peace. Much like a garden, our bodies and our consciousness need to be carefully tended to as we grow and ultimately blossom throughout life.

The first step is preparing the “soil.” In much the same way a gardener prepares a plot by removing debris, one’s physical and Spiritual space must be cleared of negative energy to allow room for the positive vibrations that bring the chakras and one’s overall life into alignment.
