The attunement and subsequent meditations link us to the compassion of the Divine {which we all already are and have!}, and it is through this power that we heal. During the healing, we strive to reflect compassion and love not only to those we heal but to all creation. The attunements are performed with the Intent of connecting to and becoming this “Compassion of the Divine”. They are truly loving and a blessing to do and to receive. In this, Karuna Ki is very specific in its understanding of what this compassion is. And it is not just compassion in healing others, but in spreading it throughout the world and universe in all that we do. The meditations of Karuna Ki are to foster this compassion and to spread it throughout the universe. The Karuna Ki System respects the traditional sanctity of the teacher and student relationship, which has stood the test of time for centuries. It is the belief that the healing and teaching relationship should be an individual relationship free of outside controls, conflicting loyalties, and other requirements. This is the case with the vast majority of the Independent Usui Reiki Masters. As such, the Karuna Ki system is offered as an alternative. In pure love, we are healed, and all are one in the love of the Divine .

Karuna Ki is an advanced healing energy system that takes the Usui system to another level. Karuna Ki includes 3 levels of instruction: First Degree, Second Degree and Third Mastery Degree.

Karuna Ki is wonderful at strengthening your ability to heal on all levels, physical, emotional and spiritual. Karuna is a Sanskrit word that means “compassion in action”.

The word Karuna is used in Hinduism and Buddhism. Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. It is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love, but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do. In the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds, you would also want the wounds of others to heal. It is stated in Buddhist literature that Karuna must be accompanied by wisdom to have the right effect.

The three levels of Karuna Ki are outlined below:

Karuna Ki I – In this level you will receive and learn how to use the first 4 symbols of Karuna Ki Reiki and be attuned to their energy. You will then practice using these symbols and treatments. Working with chanting, toning and healing our shadow self.

Karuna Ki II – In this level you will receive and learn how to use the second 4 symbols of Karuna Ki Reiki and be attuned to their energy. You will then practice using these symbols and learn how to infuse these with your regular Reiki symbols and treatments.

Karuna Ki III – Master Teacher – In this level you will learn how to teach the symbols of Karuna Ki Reiki and be attuned to Master Energy. You will then practice using these symbols and learn how to attune others to Karuna Reiki. Once you have received the Master attunement you are able to attune others to Karuna Ki Reiki.

You may receive one attunement to all levels at once if you are already a Usui Reiki Master.  The system can also be passed as three separate attunements.
