Advanced System for Dedicated Energy Healing Students and Teachers
This is the most Complete Course on Huna, Kahuna Spirituality and Reiki Healing!
Huna is a powerful and transforming system of practices, teachings, philosophy, energy work and more . The word Huna means, among other things, “secret” and has only been used as the name of this spiritual framework in Modern times. The Word KaHuna can mean keeper of the Secret but is more often defined as expert and could refer to an expert in any field.
Huna is not a religion at all. It is a remarkably freeing experience that expresses it self in every moment and action of life with great joy. The psychological insights alone are certainly among the most complete, effective and profound existing on this planet today. Practicing Huna can lead to a great joy and emotional strength and an awareness of the nurturing nature of the Earth. Over time, Huna practice can lead to an amazing experience of wholeness and connection that becomes your most natural state of mind and awareness.
Huna is often called a Psycho Spiritual tradition and often classed as Shamanic. Huna and KaHuna teachings are not easily defined and can never be confined into any one definition. The Hawaiian language is complex and many-layered. One word can have a multitude of meanings. This is quite important in exploring these traditions because one word may expand to conceal /reveal volumes of meaning.
Huna is primarily an experience rather than an intellectual pursuit; though all aspects of self and reality are honored and harmonized, the mind the body and the spirit are given equal weight. Harmonizing the three of four selves (including the higher Spiritual realities as well as the personal reality and outer realities and realms) is in many Huna traditions of major importance.
Many feel strongly that there are no secrets now. Many are assured that protection is a given and that harm will not arise from considered practice and study of these “secrets”. That as we, humankind, evolve in the dramatic beginnings of the “New Age” we will all become able to connect with the spiritual realities and formerly hidden information at will. Certainly, if you have found your way here you are meant to be here. While this may seem rather sparse information at this time, it may be more than is given at the traditional introduction to Huna, particularly as historically an initiate would be immersed in Huna from birth and would have acquired much experience even before becoming aware of it consciously. The Hawaiian language is deeply layered with meanings, the full and complete understanding of the principles could take a lifetime of exploration.
Hawaiian Goddess Trilogy
* HI’IAKA, HAUMEA & PELE
Haume: Haumea is the Earth Mother Goddess. In preparation for the beginning of Civilization She gave Form to all Star Children who first walked on the Holy Land of Mu as Goddesses and Gods. She is regarded as the creatrix of the Hawaiian People. She is the Cosmic Mother ULI In Her Earth body Form The most famous of Her many, many children Are Goddess Pele and Goddess Hi’iaka. Her skill at Childbirth is recounted in many Stories. Children sprang from different parts of Her Body Validating Her Power of Fertility. Earth Goddess Pele: The continuing ritual recognition of Pele proves that the Divine Feminine has not yet become totally Extinct. We summon Her to clear and purify all that is not needed. She challenges and assists us into bringing forth that which lies dormant in the very core of our Being. This awakens us to use our Gifts creatively and fully for all to Experience. The skin of any person She possesses will redden. A Passionate Goddess…Pele guides Her devotees to Greater Wisdom. Pele is a shape shifter who can assume any form. She holds the power to create and destroy. Described as “She-
In modern times, Pele has become the most visible of all the old gods and goddesses. Dwelling in the craters of the Big Island’s Kilauea Volcano, she has been sending ribbons of fiery lava down the mountainside and adding new land around the south-
To this day, tales of Pele’s power and peculiarities continue. Whispered encounters with Pele include those of drivers who pick up an old woman dressed all in white accompanied by a little dog on roads in Kilauea National Park, only to look in the mirror to find the back seat empty. Pele’s face has mysteriously appeared in photographs of fiery eruptions, and most people who live in the islands-
Huna, also known in ancient times as Ho’omana, is an ancient Hawaiian spiritual tradition, which was almost lost when Hawaii was ‘invaded’ by outside influences. Modern research has theories that it is incredibly old. How old is still a question for debate.
Legend traces Ho’omana or as it is known today as Huna back to Lemuria. Mu, as it is known in legends, was a continent that stretched across the Pacific Ocean. All that remains of that mythical place are its largest mountain peaks, known today as Tahiti , Polynesia , New Zealand , Hawaii , and the other Pacific islands. It is said that the peoples of the South Pacific descended from Mu and that Huna was their religious philosophy.
Huna is ‘religious’ only in the sense that it guides us to attain spiritual perfection. It is not, however, a religion. It is possible to maintain your religious affiliation and practices, and to be a practitioner of Huna, which is a very broad and inclusive.
Huna is scientific as well since it deals directly with the physical world, in the here and now, and the processes and techniques produce predictable, repeatable and transferable results with people and the environment. These results have been, at times, labelled as magic or occult and yet the unseen forces that produce these effects are very real.
Huna is also a way of life, a philosophy, a way of the heart, with a strong and yet simple code of ethics. It encourages the balance between the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of ‘being’.
Huna is all embracing and sees no conflict with other traditions. There is no one ‘right’ Huna, and the customs and details of Huna vary from practitioner to practitioner, from Island to Island.
Huna places equal emphasis on connecting with your spirituality and connecting with the earth, your body, and your emotions. Rather than teaching transcendence of the physical plane, Huna teaches us to celebrate life, to merge matter and spirit.
Huna believes that there are the three key qualities of the heart: The ability of your heart to give and receive love, courage and openness to life.
The teachings offer wisdom that the key to living a fulfilled life lies in the awakening and integration of your subconscious self (Ku), conscious self (Lono) and higher self (Kane). It offers us a profoundly beautiful philosophy of life centered in love and the vision of humankind, nature, and the divine as harmonious parts of a cosmic community. But this is not just a philosophy; more than anything else it is something you do. It gives us a set of practices that are simple yet, when used regularly, profoundly transformational. I really like this one!!
Polynesian Kahi – Art of Healing Mana
Within contemporary Maori, Mana means power and it understood as a spiritual energy of a powerful force but in ancient Polynesian culture, someone possessing the Mana was always considered to be a very special being who was descended from the Divine and would be infinitely respected. The energies of Mana would then always be transmitted by spiritual lineage or through a series of initiations/rites.Within the Polynesian culture, the complex nature of the human being is divided into three distinct parts, each with a well defined function, yet all three parts are at the same time interconnected.
