I love this time of year. It is a beautiful thing to reflect on your past year, how you grew and what you learned, and then say goodbye to the year. And then to think about what you might create in the new year, the gorgeous freshness of it all just invigorating you.
It is that time of the year when many are rushing around to finish work projects before the end of the year. Others are rushing around buying presents, decorations and trees for Christmas. Yet others are getting ready to go on their annual holiday.
Before you leap forward, you must close the door on the old year.
Amongst this busy-ness there are a few things we can do so that we do not have regrets about what we have not achieved this year, it is also a good time to take some steps to make your new year the best year yet.
For myself I do not believe in New Year’s resolutions, I have seen too many people set themselves up for failure by setting the bar too high – I have seen this leading to regret and in some rare instances, depression.
My aim for this course is to give you a few tools to make your transition from the old year to the new one easier.
